Kade’s Story

Kade participated in the Storylines School-based Apprenticeship as part of his Year 11 program, working on a cattle property at Nowra Hill in NSW, and hopes to go on to study Veterinary Sciences at university.

Kade’s story is one of a series of real-life stories where kids and parents talk about their experiences of Vocational Education and Training. It’s part of a joint project between the Australian Parents Council (www.austparents.edu.au) and the National Careers Institute (nci.dese.gov.au) to highlight to parents the unexpectedly wide range of opportunities modern VET programs offer young people.
